Who we are
AGF Finance Ltd was founded in the summer of 2011 by two brothers, Andrew and Graeme Ferguson. Building on three decades of experience in the industry their aim was simple – secure the client the best facility from the funder that most aligns with their needs managing the entire process from start to finish.
Working with a large pool of funders they are able to offer a broad range of financial facilities to clients of differing industries, size and needs to accommodate this goal.
The heart of all of this is an open, realistic, face to face dialogue with the client, the funder and their underwriters.
A measure of their success is represented by the number of clients that continue to use their services many years after the first engagement.
Making it happen
Understanding the requirements from the client’s perspective, gathering and consolidating the appropriate information before assigning to who they believe will be the most receptive funder, is the basis of securing the best credit facilities available. To successfully achieve this requires a depth of knowledge as to what the underwriters are looking for, the criteria they work to, the language they speak, and the mechanisms involved. Then finally you then need the credibility to make it happen.
So whether it’s a single supplier and funder opportunity or complex, on-going multiple supplier and funder environment AGF Finance will make it happen and manage the entire process for you.

Types of Finance
Different funders are interested in different profile of clients and different types of assets, so working with a pool of funders allows them to match the best funding product available against the opportunity. It's also common that multiple funders are involved with the same client particularly if the requirements are complex and on-going. Understanding and managing this mix is key to the ability in ensuring the funding continues to flow for the duration of the project.
